This assignment involves coming up with two catering concepts and designing seating objects. The first concept is a beach club. The beach club is called Summerlove, a quiet lounge area on the beach to work and chat. It is a place where you can get to work and still enjoy the fresh air and a good lunch. In addition, from the afternoon hours it is a place where the music goes up and you can have a great chat and eat. A place where people can meet new faces and share experiences. It should convey the feeling of a festival site where people can easily make contacts and get tasty food from various rolling kitchens (food trucks). Every week there are new food trucks that each represent their own kitchen and do this in their own way. In this way it remains a place to go and where you will continue to be surprised by the new people you meet and by the different cuisines. There are lounge sofas and chairs that can easily be used to work and eat so that they are multifunctional. In the late hours the campfire is lit and you can enjoy the music and the marshmallows.

The second concept is a sailing yacht. The restaurant ship Spirit of Ecstasy is a ship on which you can enjoy a whole experience and enjoy the food and the surroundings. You get on in the harbor of Monnickendam, where the guest enters the ship on foot and is overwhelmed by the beauty and size of the ship called Spirit of Ecstasy. The ship sails when all guests are on board and then out of the harbor the sails are hoisted by the team. That starts the sailing trip and after an hour or two of sailing during which the guests are served wine and champagne, the ship anchors and the deck is prepared for dinner. This dinner consists of five courses where guests can enjoy the food and the surroundings at a high level. The guests are expected to come neatly dressed such as in a suit or dress, all this to maintain the exclusivity of this experience at altitude. On the ship, both jazz and classical music are played by the band that plays during dinner.
